Shipping policy

At TokyoTrends, we are committed to delivering your collection safely and swiftly. As a Melbourne-based retailer, all domestic orders are primarily shipped via Australia Post.

1. Dispatch & Processing

  • Fast Dispatch: Most orders are processed and dispatched within 24 hours (Monday – Friday).
  • Tracking: Once your order is on its way, you will receive a tracking number via email to monitor your parcel's progress.
  • Peak Periods: During sales or high-demand periods, processing may take up to 3 business days.

2. Domestic Shipping (Australia Wide)

We offer flat-rate shipping across Australia:

  • Standard Shipping: $10.00 for orders under $100.00
  • Free Shipping: Enjoy complimentary standard shipping on orders over $100.00

3. Local Pickup (Click & Collect - Emporium Melbourne)

Pick up your order directly from our store in the heart of the CBD:

  • Ready in 2-4 Hours: You will receive a "Ready for Collection" email once your items are prepared.
  • Pick-up Hours: Monday to Sunday, 11 AM - 7 PM.
  • Security Requirements: To prevent credit card fraud and protect our customers, you must present:
    • Your Order Confirmation email.
    • The Physical Credit Card used for the payment.
    • A Valid Photo ID matching the name on the credit card.
    • We reserve the right to refuse collection if these requirements are not met.

4. Risk of Loss & Insurance

TokyoTrends is not responsible for lost, stolen, damaged, or delayed parcels once they are handed over to the courier (e.g., Australia Post). We highly recommend that customers purchase shipping insurance at checkout for peace of mind when waiting for their package. Additionally, we cannot accept liability for unclaimed parcels or deliveries made to incorrect shipping addresses provided at checkout.

5. Incorrect Address & Restocking Fees

Please ensure your shipping details are 100% accurate at checkout. If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address, insufficient details, or failure to collect from the post office, a 40% restocking fee (based on the total purchase amount) plus return shipping costs will apply.
